Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled UAV Engineer who is capable of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting drones used for industrial, survey, or R&D applications. The candidate should have hands-on experience in flying drones, understanding UAV components, and performing basic technical checks. A strong electronics background is essential to support hardware integration, sensor testing, and flight system upgrades.s.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and fly multirotor and fixed-wing drones safely for field operations.
Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring airworthiness and system readiness.
Troubleshoot issues related to flight controllers, ESCs, motors, GPS modules, batteries, and other UAV components.
Assist in the integration and testing of payloads, sensors, communication modules, etc.
Maintain detailed flight logs, maintenance records, and mission reports.
Conduct calibration of IMU, compass, GPS, and other onboard systems.
Support engineering teams in R&D activities, prototype testing, and performance evaluations.
Follow DGCA or internal guidelines for safety and operational protocols.
Provide technical support to customers or internal teams during demonstrations.
Ensure proper battery management, charging cycles, and power system health monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / ECE Engineering.
Hands-on experience in flying drones (manual and autonomous modes).
Good understanding of UAV technologies—flight controllers, telemetry, sensors, and radio communication.
Knowledge of troubleshooting electronic circuits, wiring, and UAV components.
Familiarity with Mission Planner, QGroundControl, or similar UAV software.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to technical details.
Willingness to travel for field operations, demonstrations, or client visits.
Preferred (Good to Have):

Drone pilot certification (DGCA or equivalent).

Experience in UAV assembly, repair, and customization.

Knowledge of scripting or programming skills (Python/C/C++).

Understanding of LiPo battery safety and power management.

Experience with GIS, surveying, or mapping tools.
